I am sorry that I have not written a blog for a few weeks but I have been busy trying to finish my portfolio and I am pleased to say that it is now done!! I am a fully qualified Forest School Leader which means we are officially a Forest School! 

The children have had a great time the last couple of weeks in woods. The weather has been varied! One week a few blizzards passed over where the children were running about in it and trying to catch the flakes in their mouths-I joined them then the next it was sunny with people taking off their coa...

This week in Forest School there was lots of exciting things available for the children to carry out in the winter sun.

This week in forest school we could all really feel the chill in the air of winter starting! The trees are much barer and our woodland floor is litter with crunchy leaves. This did not stop us!

This week all the Thurleigh Rangers have enjoyed a selection of 3 activities in their Forest School session.

It was so good getting back into our woods after the half term break! Now the weather has really turned and we could really feel that it is autumn now!
