This week in literacy we have been reading Giraffes Can't Dance. We have started our work by describing Gerald and creating a split pin puppet. 

We have been comparing numbers in Maths. Year 2 have revisited using the greater than, less than and equal to symbols with the Year ones learning all about the symbols.

We were very lucky to have a Paralympian visit our school on Thursday. The children took part in a fitness circuit with Sean Rose and Ian, who was an ex footballer. We then had an assembly which showed us how Sean had his accident and how he hasn't let anything stop him from doing the things he loves. We are creating a display inspired by him and thinking about our hopes and dreams and what we would like to do when we are older.
