We have used Purple Mash on the computers to make fireworks pictures.  We also used colourful dyed rice to make Diwali pictures. 

In maths we have been looking for different representations of the numbers 1, 2 and 3.  We have also been subitising numbers – recognising an amount by sight without counting.

In phonics we have been working hard with our phonics skills.  We have started writing simple sentences and applying our segmentation skills to the words we hear.  Our handwriting is improving every day!
