The day had been a closely guarded secret, Chestnut Class had been asked to come to school dressed in old clothes for a 'Marvellous Middle' Topic Day. Andy arrived in a full Neanderthal Man costume, including a mask, and the children were thrilled when the mask came off and it was revealed it was him!

The day included Stone Age story telling, drama and different art techniques to produce cave art. The children enjoyed painting techniques to age paper, hand printing and mono prints. It was truly amazing and a great time was had by all, including a whole lot of new learning. Thank you very much Andy!
