In English, we have been writing our letters to Ash Class. We were very excited to post out letters in the post box on the playground. We worked so hard on these letters and feel they are our best pieces of writing yet! 

We also started our D&T project this week. Our design brief was revealed to us. We have been challenged to make a fashionable, upcycled item of clothing, for a Fashion Show. On Monday, we carried out our design research, looking at existing ideas of ways to upcycle clothing, as well as current fashion trends. We then shared and presented our findings, using image boards. On Thursday, we began designing our product and thinking carefully about how we could make it and what we would need. We all have very different, but exciting design ideas. We are now waiting for these to be 'approved' by Miss Calvert. We really cannot wait to get started. 

In Science, we have been continuing our learning about Electricity. We carried out an investigation this week, exploring if materials were insulators or conductors of electricity. We found that metal materials conducted electricity. We are loving all the experiments and investigations in this topic. 

We have an exciting week next week, with transition day and sports day!
