We have been drawing our topic about Invasion (Vikings) to a close and have spent time researching and learning about the Viking gods. 

We had a DT day on Wednesday and made working catapults which was a lot of fun. We also went over to the church for our assembly with the Vicar.

On Thursday we had our Fab Finish and enjoyed a Viking Day together. Chestnut Class had a great time, we were able to make Viking purses, paint shields, eat Viking food, role play a Viking attack and play Viking board games. We had a lot of fun!

We also enjoyed a music concert on Thursday afternoon and watched our friends from different classes perform music on their instruments. We listened to musical pieces on the violin, cello and piano. The musicians did a great job and we agreed that we felt inspired by them to play a musical instrument.

We are looking forward to our last week at school next week.
