Objectives in spending PPG
 To raise attainment of pupils benefitting from PPG
To enable all children to access all areas of the curriculum
To give extra support via 1 to 1 or small group support to those children who are behind their peers.
To ensure all children make the maximum progress throughout the school year
To provide access to Breakfast and After School Club to improve children’s attendance.
To provide a range of out of School Clubs and music lessons to support children’s interests.
To provide school uniform where needed to prevent isolation of children
Expenditure of Pupil Premium 2016/17
Staffing costs for provision of 1 to 1 or small group support to raise attainment of pupils particularly behind in aspects of their learning
Resource costs for Breakfast and After School Club to provide nutritious breakfasts for children who arrive without breakfast
Attendance at Breakfast and After School Club to assist in punctuality
Attendance at Premier Sport led Out of School Clubs to enrich life experiences of children who do not attend any clubs
Attending Kingswood residential and other school trips to support children’s experiences
School meals for those not receiving FSM to ensure children have healthy and wholesome meals increasing their ability to concentrate in the afternoon.
Provision of school uniform so that all children present a neat and tidy appearance
Whole school experiences to add enrichment
Music lessons to allow the acquisition of music skills, performing and increased self -esteem
Childwhispering: outside expertise to counsel children suffering from trauma
Impacts to date: 
Maintenance of good attendance (3.5% authorised absence, 0.1% unauthorised absence)
Inclusion of all children in out of school opportunities to enhance the curriculum from school trips including a residential, swimming, sport and music.
Enrichment of the school by visiting organisations
Positive comments on all children’s neat and tidy appearance at outside events.
