Building Model Stone Age Houses
Chestnut Class were challenged to build waterproof Stone Age houses using only natural materials that they had collected from the field. Children had to gather their own sticks and insulating materials, then mix up their own mud to fill in any gaps. We then left the houses out in the rain overnight to see if they were able to withstand the weather!
Do you know what? They were all weather-proof!
